Waiting List & Places
We are incredibly proud to be a popular and thriving Scout Group, but this does mean demand for places is very high. Our current waiting list now exceeds 125 young people, and unfortunately our section sizes are limited by the number of leaders we have.
Because of this, a place becoming available in the near future is unlikely.
However, there is a way you can help make a difference.
Like all Scout groups, we are entirely volunteer‑led, and the number of young people we can offer places to is directly linked to the number of adults who step forward to help. In many Scout Groups, families who are able to volunteer are given priority, as without volunteers the group simply cannot run.
If you would be willing to step up as a leader or volunteer, we may be able to look at offering your child a place sooner, while also helping us grow the group and support more young people in the community.
